The first step in finding your Zone 2 is estimating your maximum heart rate. To do this, subtract your age from 220, and then multiply that number by 60% (.6) and 70% (.7). This will give you an estimated range for your Zone 2 heart rate.
Example: 35-year-old
220 – 35 = 185
185 x .6 = 111
185 x .7 = 129.5
Zone 2 Heart Rate Range = 111–129.5

You can measure your maximum heart rate in other ways—check with your coach on the different protocols.
