The short answer is YES.

In a recent double-blind study, 86% of people on semaglutide lost at least 5% of their body weight, almost 70% achieved a 10% or more weight loss, and more than half were able to lose 15% of their baseline body weight.

As we counseled above, the weight loss effects of semaglutide, while powerful, are not the main benefit. While you are on semaglutide, you will have a window of opportunity to make the small, incremental changes in the what you eat and how you eat. It is behavioral change that is the critical feature for long term success
