So, fast-twitch fibers are important to balance and stability. Yet, it’s not all about moving fast.

Balance is also about knowing where your body is in place and time. We call this proprioception.

By knowing we don’t mean that you have to think about proprioception. Your body shifts your weight and moves your limbs automatically and subconsciously in order to keep you in position.

Simply finding ways to keep moving and practicing new types of movement is what your body needs to stay in balance.

Dance, yoga, tai chi, and similar activities are great for integrating balance for both the body and the mind.

There are so many ways to improve balance and stability.

As with all things COR-4, it is a matter of committing to a lifestyle of movement—activities that you enjoy on your own, and with your tribe.

The rest will look after itself.
