When you work with an accountability partner, you should have some expectations. Here are some guidelines to consider:

Schedule

You and your accountability partner should agree to a time schedule for your action steps. For example, walking 3 days per week for 30 minutes.

Check-ins

How and when are you going to keep each other accountable? Set a specific time, and method of communication. Whether it be a phone call, email, text message, or an app. Pick what works best for you.

Info Sharing

Simple check-ins can get a bit boring. Mix it up by sharing pictures or videos of your actions and progress. It is through telling the story that you maintain engagement.

Celebrate

A good accountability partner is someone who can share your victories with you. Even a thumbs up emoji after a hard workout can be a great motivator.
