Does it mean that you don’t have to take responsibility for your health because it’s beyond your control?  

Of course not.  

In the next article, we’re going to discuss some practical strategies that can get your modern and primitive brains working together—or at least so they’re not in constant conflict. 

We’re going to explore some options that are much more effective for long-term lifestyle change than cognitive brute force.  

But it will mean you need to put aside some of your preconceived notions and default strategies. 

You’ll have to use that powerful, modern brain of yours in a different way.
