The idea of consistency has come up repeatedly in the PowerME™ Vitality Program. Eating whole foods consistently is the path to good nutrition. Consistently getting to bed on time is the path to better sleep, and so on.
It’s always best to nail consistency first for any lifestyle behavior, and it’s the same with strength training. (A no-excuses approach as we discussed previously can be helpful here as well.)
If you are just starting out, the way to get consistent is by reducing friction. Work with your coach to make your workouts easy to complete.
