Measuring and monitoring emotional health is not like Zone 2 (By the way, did you get your workout in yet?), but you can recognize the peace of mind that comes when you have control of your emotions.  

If you need your primitive brain, it’s always there, ready to get you out of danger.  

But you don’t want it controlling your life.  

  • Become more comfortable with tapping your core motivation. What is your life’s mission. Why are you here?  
  • Practice mindfulness. It really helps. 
  • Build your resilience. Take a cold plunge or maybe go camping for a night with your family.  

Your prefrontal cortex will thank you.
