HORIZONTAL PULL: SEATED CABLE ROW
Rowing is an important compound movement. In fact, rowing using a machine (or rowing a boat) is one of the best, full system workouts you can get. A rowing machine engages a lot of muscles and can be a great Zone 2, or even Zone 5 workout, depending how hard you push yourself.
There are many different types of rows including seated row, bent over row, and standing cable row. We’ll discuss the seated cable row because it is fairly easy; if you’re just beginning, it’s harder to get hurt with a seated row.
Remember to keep your back straight and your shoulders relaxed, and don’t use your momentum to move the weight.
