HORIZONTAL PUSH: THE PUSHUP

Ah yes, the pushup. You may fondly remember this exercise from gym class back in the day.  

Yet the pushup is a great exercise— assuming no one standing over you yelling, “Give me twenty!” 

Pushups work the chest and arms (triceps), as well as the shoulders, core, and low back. There isn’t a better, simpler exercise for getting stronger quickly. 

Our main tip is to make sure to keep your neck and spine in a neutral position and not to let your hips sag.
