A DEXA scan requires an order from a licensed healthcare provider. The order can come from your personal physician. Your PowerME™ provider would be happy to write the order for you as well.
Unfortunately, health insurance doesn’t typically cover a body comp DEXA and the cash price can vary; although, a good ballpark is $100.
Some facilities will let you get a DEXA without an order from your healthcare provider, instead having one of their physicians provide the order.
