The small plate strategy isn’t hard. Simply replace your plates, glasses, and bowls with receptacles that are smaller in size.

For the small plate strategy to work, you’ll want your tribe onboard. And you’ll also need to incorporate similar strategies when eating away from home, such as taking your own food to work and sharing meals at restaurants.  

Using small plates might not be your only strategy, but it can be part of the habit stacking toolkit. It’s definitely a good place to start.
