VERTICAL PULL: THE LAT PULLDOWN 

The lat pulldown machine is a pretty useful piece of gym equipment. While a pullup may be a better compound exercise, it is really hard, especially if you’re first starting out. 

Of course, if done incorrectly, like any exercise a lat pulldown can cause more harm than good.
