Your foundational vertical pull is a lat pulldown. However, you may not have access to a gym, so resistance bands are here again to save the day. 

Remember, resistance bands come in different thicknesses—i.e., different levels of resistance.

The pullup is not easy, but if you can pull it off, you’ll not only be the envy of all your workout buddies, but you’ll also be working a wide range of muscles in the arms, forearms, upper back, shoulders, and core.  

Don’t worry if you can’t do a pullup, or if you never do a pullup.
