VERTICAL PUSH: THE SHOULDER PRESS
The shoulder press is a simple movement that engages a lot of muscles. It primarily works your shoulders and upper back, but also the triceps and pecs. It helps you engage your core muscles, and it trains balance and stability.
Remember to keep your head and neck in a neutral position and to avoid arching your back or locking your elbows at the top of the press.
If you’re using dumbbells, stabilize your shoulder by keeping your elbows close to your body during the movement.
