Sleep hygiene is just what you’d expect—it is all of the behaviors and habits that help you to get a good night’s sleep.

We’re going to split up sleep hygiene into two lists: things that are related to your surroundings and things that are related to your behavior.

You may find that just by improving your sleep environment, your sleep issues will improve. Of course, you will probably need to perform the right behaviors as well.

Go through each item for both the environmental and behavioral parts of the checklist. Simple, small steps can add up to big changes for the better.
