Why alternatives?  

It may be that when you start out, an exercise might be too challenging. Or, you may not have the equipment to perform certain exercises.  

So, here we will provide you with some alternative exercises to consider. Don’t be afraid to reach out to your coach as well. 

Why progressions? 

You gain strength by stressing your muscles, causing them to adapt and to get stronger. Thus, as you move forward with your workouts, we encourage you to both challenge yourself and mix it up. In this article you will find some options to get you started. 

Remember to be careful, especially if you are new to this. We recommend having a trainer or your coach check out your mechanics (okay, we know that we’re pestering now) as well as review your program so your workouts stay uniform and you don’t over train or undertrain one area.
